Fluorescent Nucleotides

Jena Bioscience Fluorescent nucleotides have found a plethora of applications in life science including their use in signal transduction research of G-proteins and kinases, as probes for the actomyosin system and other ATP-utilizing proteins, or for labeling of DNA through incorporation by polymerases. Here we offer three general types of fluorescent nucleotides thoroughly selected among the wealth of possibilities to cover the whole range of applications with the most suitable probes:

  • Nucleotides suitable for DNA labeling by PCR can be found in the PCR Products/DNA Labeling section

  • Dye-labeled nucleotides with the label attached to the nucleotide at various positions using a linker of your choice

  • Fluorescence Quencher-labeled Nucleotides to be used in FRET experiments in which a fluorescent dye and a quencher are in close proximity

  • Fluorescent and Quencher-labeled NTPγS Analogs to be used in experiments where substrate interactions of non-hydrolyzable nucleotides are studied by fluorescence measurements

  • Intrinsically Fluorescent Nucleotide Analogs which combine fluorescence with close mimicry of the properties of natural nucleotides
